Voter Intimidation Thuggery
The gangster approach to American politics, conspicuously at work in the McCain-Palin-Hannity-Limbaugh-&-Co. air war of innuendos, insinuations, smears, slanders, lies, three-quarter lies, distortions and evasions, is also well along in the ground war.
Here's a copy of a flyer circulating in Philadelphia last weekend. A person or persons helpfully signing himself or herself as "Anonymous" claims that "an Obama supporter approached me during a rock the vote assembly" and said that on Election Day "there will be undercover officers to execute warrants on those who come to vote....He advised me if I had any outstanding warrants or traffic offenses I should clear them up prior to voting." And so on.
I wonder how much of this sort of thing is going on elsewhere in PA and other swing states.

Hell, I'm waiting for George to 'suspend' the election due to the economic crisis. Didn't McCain 'suspend' his campaign due to the economic crisis. Got to wonder if McCain's move was to make George's next move less surprising.

yes and obama should clear up his criminal problems too since he and Ayers/dorhn committed FRAUD when they took the Annenberg Foundation money. i'm sure Annenberg, A staunch Republican never dreamt his money would be used to support Madrassa type curriculum in Chicagos Public schools. thats what he and bill ayers actually did and someone who was in the schools told me that Ayers tried to use his own personal experiences and ideology such as commanding his followers to kill their Rich White Parents and after they are dead, you are free to do what you may regarding the government! this is what bill ayers and bernadine The Felon" Dorhn preached and then tried to BaRAINWASH poor innocent American school children, and his wife The Felon, is actually chairwoman of the Children and families dept at north western? gimme a fucking break!!

Todd, it's too bad that since it is a violation in some States to wear political attire or buttons. Why isn’t the polling places sanctuaries?
The voting process should be a safe haven, free from intimidation or influence. The only person that has to see if I am registered to vote is the poll worker.
Realizing that I am giving a limited access to invade my privacy, only for identification purposes, the poll worker should have no other rights to use this information or share with others my information or to identify me, because like the Medical Health Privacy Act, I am not consenting to release of my name, to any organization, unless I proactively allow it, having the basic right to vote, is not based on my giving up the right to remain silent or to incriminate myself.
It should be illegal for anyone to know, who voted or didn’t. The identification procedure is to establish the legal right to Vote.

Resistance, in most states, the polling place is a sanctuary, but of course, the amount of protection depends on the state. This is from Indiana:
This is very strong protection, actually, but similar provisions can be found in many election codes.

Hotguy isn't doing so hot by the looks of his post above. That is pure delusional paranoia of a dangerous kind, that lends itself to violent fantasies and sometimes action. The kind of nuttiness and anger that Palin and McCain are mindlessly and shamelessly stoking.

McCain and Palin don't care about the Country that claims Liberty and Justice for all.
It's either Rule or Ruin.
They'd ruin our Great experiment, if they don't get their way.
Does McCain even believe in the oath of office? The one that says, “To defend against foreign and domestic enemies?”
Oh! He probably does and the majority of US citizens are his enemy.

In Pennsylvania, it is ILLEGAL for police officers to be within 100 feet of the polling place unless they are themselves voting.
PA. Stat. Ann. Section 3047.

At least in one other language I know, the expresion goes "The house is burning and grandmother is knitting". McCain's response to the emerging (as in NOT OVER BY FAR) economic crisis, i.e. focusing on yesterday's news Bill Ayers is grandfather knitting. Still, Obama needs to be even more effective demonstrating to America that he KNOWS what to do about it.

McCain is trying to relive his glory years.
He is trying to re- incite the battle of Viet Nam, to reinvigorate the LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT crowd.
Ayer represents those who fought against a tyrannical Nixon, who drafted middle class and the poor to fight an unpopular war, while families of privilege avoided it, because Daddy had connections.

McCain will never admit, that despite the surge of forces in Vietnam, the TET offensive proved to America that our leaders had lied to us, WE THE PEOPLE, HAD TO BATTLE, McCains friends who loved war, but avoided the draft, McCain’s friends who benefited from the war machine.
Burglarizing a Watergate office, in order to control anti war protests, and then wonder why some fought against the War machine that was destroying the country.
Senile McCain, we fought that battle years ago. We have a new conflict and your AWOL
