From the news, another Palindrome
Palin regaled the cheering crowd with a story about how she was reading her Starbucks mocha cup yesterday, which featured a quotation from former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.
"Now she said it, I didn't," Palin said of Albright. "She said, 'There's a place in Hell reserved for women who don't support other women.'"
The crowd roared its approval, but according to several sources, Albright actually said, "there's a place in Hell reserved for women who don't help other women."
"OK, now thank you so much for receiving that well--I didn't know how that was going to go over," Palin told the southern California crowd. "And now California, let's see what a comment that I just made how that is turned into whatever it'll be turned into tomorrow in the newspaper."
Lessons: First, she should have told Katie Couric that she read coffee cups. Second, it's dangerous to quote from sources that can be checked for less than $3. Third, Palin doesn't help men, women, or herself when she follows the Rovian advice to smear Barack Obama; she can survive her own syntax, but when she becomes despicable and detestable the comeback trail is harder.

if only Hell existed, Palin's own actions would've booked her a spot.
hopefully, the newspapers will point out the irony of an anti-choice type using the quote.
again, Palin is either outrageously ignorant or she's just playing the part to generate a reaction which can then be labeled elitist.
it's an odd way to try and demonstrate your leadership qualities.

Republican politics is a tried and true system for tricking people into voting against their own best interest. The first ingredient is always to use lofty quotes that don't bear any relation to the policies under consideration.
Remember Reagan using the song "Born in the USA" by Bruce Springsteen? How many fans of Reagan (or even fans of Springsteen) bothered to find out what the song was really about?

So if you're not with her, you're against her. Methinks we've had eight years too much of that.
