Cheney's Gift to McCain

He's not going to the GOP convention, according to CNN, which is to be congratulated for hiring somebody who can write tart:

A Wall Street Journal-NBC News Poll from June showed that while 31 percent of Americans had a positive opinion of President Bush, only 23 percent had the same feeling for Cheney.

Cheney may be the only non-incarcerated politician in America who's less popular than President Bush.

Newt Gingrich was on C-SPAN's Washington Journal this morning, I tried to get through to say to him;

"If the Obama camp can find a picture of McCain, Bush, Cheney and you (Gingrich) together, it would be good for 5 million more votes for Obama."

Excellent. Why don't you look for that picture? I'm serious.

I doubt it exists....sad to say.

But that doesn't mean Obama couldn't create an ad featuring those four as representative of the Republican Party.

Maybe even add Tom DeLay?

Well I used to lament that the American people weren't paying attention, the proof being putting El Presidente back in for a 2nd term. It took them a while to realize it but it seems they finally 'get it'.

It would be nice to tie McCain to 'Doctor Evil' Cheney too...the trifecta (all 3 together) would be preferable but why not do an ad using he and Cheney together. It doesn't have to be tying McCain just to Bush...tie him to every corrupt, ineffective and/or unpopular republican politician out there. It fits well into the 'change' meme...it just isn't the president that needs to be changed. Reinforce the message which got the D's back the House (after a 12 year absence from power) and the Senate in '06...we need change, the R's have shown they can't be trusted to run things.

Cheney may not go to the Republican convention, but if I'm Obama, he sure will be at the Democratic convention. I would have a life sized photo of Bush and his entire cabinet at the convention, with speakers coming up, one by one, discussing the failures of each department!

ROTFLMAO...I am laughing so hard I can barely reach my keyboard. This tart summation made my day, night, even my week!
