Cricket as a metaphor for life, global and local. A game where one wears white to feel black, and a game in which all people are made civilized by the nature of the game. True too. That's the part that makes me happy. I became aware of this game in 1998 and yes, I too am bitten every year by the matches involving India and the other countries, as they happen. I follow as closely as time permits me. I most assuredly plan on reading this book next. I’ve even bought it!
