Chelsea Asks Me To Help Choose HRC Campaign T-Shirt

I guess Hillary's not going anywhere.

I just got an e-mail from Chelsea asking me for "my help to make a critical decision -- our next official campaign t-shirt."

She writes: "We recently launched a contest to design a campaign t-shirt, and I couldn't believe the incredible response. We got thousands of great entries. They were creative, inspirational, funny, and beautiful. It was amazing to see the devotion to my mom's campaign come through in each t-shirt."

I checked out the various choices and none of them grab me. See what you think.

Christ.....

Chelsea is turning out to be every bit as lame and pathetic as her mother.

Such a shame that child abuse laws do not protect those over 18. :(

Slow news day today? Shouldnt you leave some space for someone with some real substance?

Sheesh.

MJ, come on, this makes you, not Chelsea, or Hillary, look bad.

That's not very Web 2.0. We should be allowed to make customized Hillary Campaign Shirts.

Like:

Already President of Florida and Michigan - Hillary 08

Because I'd Hate For Something To, You Know, Happen To the Other Candidate -- Hillary 08

"'Cause I will still be running on Jan 20, 2017"

MJ, your hatred for Senator Clinton is starting to get a bit creepy...

Are you channeling Chris Matthews or something?

MJ quotes Chelsea's email, says none of the t-shirts grabs him. This is hatred?

T-SHIRT suggestions:

- OBILITERATE (front)/ ASSASSINATE (back)
- AS FAR AS I KNOW OBAMA IS A MUSELIM
- BILL, IRON MY CLOTHES
- HILLARY "EVA PERON" CLINTON
- CLINTON/MCCAIN 08
- I AM NOT A LESBIAN

MJ, Nice waste of time. Anything else on your feeble mind besides "Yes We Can"....drink so more kool aid.

At least you're not making fun of Chelsea this time. When you did I thought it showed amazingly poor judgment and bad taste.

It's okay to make fun of Chelsea now. She's an adult with a cushy hedge fund job.

It wasn't okay to make fun of Chelsea when she was a kid. Now she's fair game.

Don't agree at all. It is like kicking Amy Carter. Not nice. at all.

But Chelsea's way more powerful and successful than Amy Carter ever was. She's not in a position of weakness anymore.

Because I'm too lazy to type them again:

Floor It! and others

You would think that someone would have come up with a creative shirt, in a way those shirts are a metaphore for Hillarys campaign, so many chances to do something that wasn't lame, and yet her instinctual lameness prevailed everytime.

I wonder which graphically challenged person(s) picked this motley bunch of tees. They are in general, rather poor examples of the genre and my practised eye rates them from best to worst as follows:

#5 and #1 are acceptable but boring. #3 is less successful because of image size and placement. The oddly phallic #4 is too wordy and #2, the empty pantsuit, is inadvertently hilarious.

I'm voting for #2.

Next Tee shirt:

TIME TO GIVE UP

omg -- look at obama's t-shirts (waiting list for the got hopes) and hillary's. candidates aside, even, it's official: it's mac vs. pc.

avatar

Yeah, the empty pantsuit is great. I cannot believe a professional political campaign would even think of distributing that.

avatar

Could Chelsea have picked them out? No way a pro would have chosen those losers. Weirdly, they don't offer a choice. Although, on the other hand, the militia members do get to vote on their uniform.

I wonder when the contest closes?

I like the black one that reads "for everyone that's been counted out..."

You mean counted out by, you know, votes or something?

Entry#2 with the headless pantsuit seems to be the best one..it totally captures HRC's campaign style and her desperation.
