Testing, testing, one, two.
Believe it or not, we've finally been able to get the reader blog archives from the old site into our database. For now, they're on a testing site. We need your help, especially if you were a blogger at the old site, making sure that they're working and are all there.
So, help us out. Shoot an email to tpmbugs at gmail dot come and join the beta testing group making sure we've got this right!

This is a smart blog. I mean it. You have so much knowledge about this issue, and so much passion. You also know how to make people rally behind it, obviously from the responses. Youve got a design here thats not too flashy, but makes a statement as big as what youre saying. Great job, children health indeed.

He's just trying to trick us all into going onto the test site which is on another server that he'll load into a truck in order to send us across the country.

Andrew,
Thanks for all that you all do.
I know it's off-topic, but perhaps above the blog text entry box could be added something to the effect of: Use the buttons for adding html.
There are poster who still don't get it.
Just a suggestion.

I just got booted off when I tried to respond to a post. I was signed in, and when I went to "send" I had to sign in again. I got a message that my password was incorrect. I tried three more times and I got booted off the site altogether. Is it my computer, or are bugs coming back?
PS Thanks for all your work -- I hope this is just a glitch, but I do wish:
We could still see new posts highlighted in some way to differentiate them from old ones. And..
We could see specific responses to our posts, like at the old site.

Hi, Andrew,
Please claify which username to use with the password amailed to me today to access the archives in the beta site. I do want to retrieve my reader blogs, however, the email I received didn't specify which username. It did give a password, but I tried that with Ticia and was not successful at gaining access. I have not registered with that site separately, is that necessary?
Thanks for any light,
Tish

... that would be clarified and emailed. I clearly need to upgrade these drug store magnifiers.

I thought the word before the slash was the username and the word after the slash was the password, but it doesn't seem to be working, so apparently I'm wrong.
Either that or the site isn't quite there yet.
I dunno.

The best thing to do is email them back at tpmbugs.

Thanks, Andrew.
I was able to access a few of my old posts today. I have emailed tpmbugs to see how to find all of them.
Looking forward,
Ticia

I'll be glad to help, Andrew. Just let me know what's needed.
Honestly, you may be "asking," but how are folks supposed to know? (Really, you've lost us mostly! I'm hardly checking posts here anymore. And only due to someone's remark to me on a comment did I even know about this!!!)
Ok, I've fired an email to the address above.
Thanks for this!!! (Prayers are ascending!)

Madison believed that we should have separation of church and state throughout the land, federal and local. There was a fascinating moment during the congressional debate over what became the First Amendment. How could the beloved First Amendment be harmful to religion?
Huntington feared that it would overturn or interfere with Connecticut’s approach, which was to have state-supported religion.

religious sect may degenerate into a political faction,' wrote James Madison, but the new American nation would nevertheless be protected against the ungovernable combination of religious fervor and political power as long as the Constitution prohibited the federal government from establishing any particular creed as preeminent.
