Clever Messaging on Health Care
This is an appealing new YouTube video on Senator Wyden's Healthy Americans Act:
I think this is quite effective, and reminds me of the Center for American Progress's recently-launched campaign to rebrand progressivism.
What do you think of video ads like this? Do campaigns like this divert funds from more efficient forms of policy advocacy?

Television is a powerfully influential medium, and YouTube may be even more influential as the new generation takes over. This is certainly a way to get support for a bill. However, it is a two edged sword. It can be used for bad as well as good. I'd rather see ads like this than the countless credit card ads selling bold face lies that I see everytime I turn my TV on for 5 minutes.

It occurs to me that these postings by Professor Warren's groupies really shouldn't be on the front page. They're infrequently interesting and almost never generate conversation.
And more importantly, they push better postings off the page.
Isn't there any way you Warren guys could keep these low-value postings off the front page?

I rather agree (though I wouldn't be quite so brusque about calling Prof Warren's fellows "groupies") and I will note that I usually enjoy Prof Warren's own postings.
I also wouldn't mind having a lot of the electoral "horse race" crap posted off somewhere else too. There's too much insider stuff of low value that gets splashed on the main page here.
