Rudy just raved about the Chinese ability to get 40 nuclear power plants built. They know how to handle protest.

He admired the French too. Quelle scandale!

Todd, I believe it's possible to make one post and then update it with edits/additions. No?

It's easier to read a list of comments on the debates, and facilitates commenting, if it's in one place.

Not that I'm the admin or anything, cause I'm not. But just saying my $.02, as a reader.

Todd, may I agree with kozmik that I'd love your sharp mind at greater length and more engaged with the event you're calling attention to? For that matter, I know I shouldn't make suggestions, but I'd love to hear of you as media critic in a couple of areas with which I associate you.

I thought you might have a good take on (or deconstruction of) an article in the Sunday Times "Education Life" about a supposed SDS revival. Your interest in Tennenhaus's murder of the book section might come in handy, too, this week, where he gets to devote a whole issue to Islam, mostly as the bad guys in the conservative GWOT. It has contributions from Fouad Adjami, the AEI, and the Economist. A writer new to me from The American Prospect does appear, no doubt as balance, but at the end and to remind us of the evils of Iran.
