James K. Glassman: America, Sky's the Limit!
Big news: James K. Glassman will be the next undersecretary of state for public diplomacy and public affairs, succeeding Karen Hughes, Margaret Tutwiler, and Charlotte Beers in charge of Bush's global sales force. The AP mentions Glassman's former journalistic gigs. It doesn't mention his 1999 book, co-authored with Kevin Hassett: Dow 36,000: The New Strategy for Profiting from the Coming Rise in the Stock Market.

Not long ago Glassman used to be a guest on many different TV shows, it was around the time of his DOW 36,000 book, then he seems to have dropped out of sight. Like a bad penny, he pops up again.
As John Latimer says in a post here, Glassmann is with the American Enterprise Institute, enough said.

well,when jim was at harvard, he was an editor of the harvard crimson.
this goes unmentioned by most commentators. i think his tenure was during the presidency of james fallows.
have you ever read fallows denouncing this fascist?
there are these other protectors for glassman, of course, and that is the zionist lobby. donny graham. pinch sulzberger. elliot abrams.
don't fail to acknowledge glassman's ties to the neocons. he is one. has been one since he saw that they were the key to his financial well-being.
