Clinton Global Initiative

user-pic

CGI is one of the greatest shows on earth, but what is particularly admirable is former President Clinton's focus on addressing global warming. He's plainly a convert to former Vice President Gore's mission. He's implying that his wife's administration would undertake major transformation in the global economy: that's bold and exciting.

I wish he'd stop sending me fundraising letters for his wife.

I'd stop sending them back empty.

God, I wish the Clintons would just go away. I guess we might be stuck with them for another decade or two, but I'm already thoroughly worn down by Clinton fatigue.

And Reid, could you please learn how to provide a link or two in your posts, or at least quote some passages? Why do we always have to guess what you are talking about? I would assume a man who was in charge of regulating the nation's communications infrastructure has mastered HTML by now.

Reed, come on. You're not an idiot or a man without principles, so why are you always settling for this? This post is like, "I hear she's really cool." I mean, she might offer a job when she's president, especially if you're a football fan, but I try to think better of you, so held yourself to at least some principles. This is simply demeaning to you. Should you care.

has al gore actually worked on living in an energy efficient house and using fuel efficient cars?

To boldly go...

Reed, is it true that you are required to post a fixed number of posts every weekend, even if Hell has frozen over? What are the consequences if you don't do it? Is it worth looking like an idiot to avoid those consequences?

I wait with bated breath.

Okay, so let me get this straight...Bill&Hill Clinton have bold and exciting ideas about the global economy? Wuh? The primary reason the globalization and dereg cancer continues to grow is because of ol' Bill's bold ideas in the 90s. He singlehandedly stepped on the neck of the middle class in America. The final nail was driven in by Bill and held by Ronnie Raygun and Elder Bush. Junior Bush finished us off with malignant neglect.

Your Clinton drumbeat sounds like a tennis racket in a mud puddle. Re-think this one Reed.
The only reason Bill Clinton would ever convert to anything Gore is if he saw an opportunity to fatten his own wallet.

The Clintons have so much angst right now; I get Bush/Fox/Neocon vibes from both of them. Phonies both.

Hey lay off Reed!

He's got enough trouble living down the DeadSkins without accusing him of Billariness

"CGI is one of the greatest shows on earth"
- is this snark? "show" as in circus? is this a note to self? hyperbole much?
"He's implying that his wife's administration would undertake major transformation in the global economy: that's bold and exciting."
- there nothing "bold" or "exciting" about an implication. Details? Hints? again, hyperbole much?

Bill Clinton is charismatic, no question about that. But his charisma doesn't translate to his wife, and his "implications" aside, I prefer to vote on explicit plans rather than bold hints.
