Chris Dodd's hearings
Errol Louis, one of my favorite political columnists, has this column about Chris Dodd, his longshot presidential candidacy, and the Senate Banking hearings on subprime lending.

Before I heard Chris Dodd interviewed on a local public radio show recently, I knew little about him but had a positive if not enthusiastic impression. On that radio show, he was impressive--informed, thoughtful and energetic. I'm not in love or anything, but I'm interested and I'm watching. It's a relief to have an alternative to the Top Tier Three.
