Speaker Pelosi's blog has this post (with video footage) about today's House Oversight Subcommittee on Domestic Policy hearing regarding "the predatory mortgages, payday loans, and foreclosures that plague inner-city America."

FINally the subject gets some high-profile airtime on the floor, there...it's only been going on for decades, but maybe they'll finally take issue and develop plans for some positive overarching reform that's long overdue to be applied to the seamy underbelly of the lending industry...
