Two new resources
Two new resources launched this week. Both look great.
OpenCongress is a Sunlight Foundation project that should make Congress easier to understand and follow.
Opportunity08 is a joint project of the Brookings Institution and ABC News that "aims to help presidential candidates and the public focus on the most pressing policy questions facing our next president."
I'll be keeping my eye on both.

Keep two eyes on the Opportunity '08 group. Looking at the Advisory Council and the Contributors, I'd say "center-right" is about as charitable as I'm willing to be in describing Opportunity '08's makeup. Brookings, MHO, has been moving steadily rightwards, and ABC News??. . . . well, Ted Koppel doesn't work for it any more. :-)
If this organization becomes the fulcrum about which debate organizes itself, we'll have a whole new definition of triangularization, and the left will be out in the cold.
