What's New? GOP Family Values, The Urge to Surge, and the Question of Impeachment

user-pic

I just finished my second cup of the morning, which means it's time for the House Brew. (Note to self: the "coffee" they sell on the street for 65 cents is cheap for a reason.)

So what's new?

At Election Central, Greg Sargent has been all over future '08 GOPpers efforts to make themselves right-wing-friendly. Giuliani is trying to hide the past (wives, kids, divorces) and evidence just keeps coming on Romney's troubling past of reasonableness. Also...

Matt Corley has clips from Hillary Clinton's recent appearance on the View.

At America Abroad, Bruce Jentleson is wondering whether there is really any truth at all to the President's "I listen to my generals" bit, especially considering his recent urge to surge.

In the Coffee House, Reed Hundt is breaking down America's troubles with China and M.J. Rosenberg is wondering about Barack Obama's take on Israel-Palestine.

Finally, over on the reader blogs Mark Raven is stirring things up with his anti-impeachment plea, resulting in a debate about accountability and political realism.

That's it for now, but I'll be back again tomorrow. As usual, share some wisdom and let me know if I missed anything good.

Potentially stupid question: where are the House Brew posts published?  I found this one off the site tracker but didn't see it on the home page.

And thanks, Andrew!

You didn't see this post on the homepage? House Brew is technically a separate blog but I always publish to the front page.

Sorry for the slow response -- I didn't see the House Brew post on the homepage.  And I looked, too!  Maybe it shows up only when it's the newest published post?
